a. _Depilatories (Magic Shave, Royal Crown, Palmer's No Blade, SQ Razorless, etc.)
-Action: Chemically dissolve hair so shaving is unneccessary. Products contain "lye" like chemical.
Very irritating to skin, can cause burns.

b. _Non-Depilatory Liquids and Salves (Bumphree. Bump Stopper, Ty Spears #9, etc.)
Actons: Antibacterial, skin cleansing, pore cleansing, conditioning, moisturizing

c. _Glycolic Acid Derivatives (Clear Beard, M.D. Formulations, Black Opal, etc.)
Actions: Exfoliation, anti-inflammatory, "skin smoothing", reduces oiliness

d. _"System" Approaches

Approaches: _Some estheticians use sudsing antibacterial soaps and shaving.
